• Guidance only. Do not apply through-coloured render onto a frozen wall. One maker prints 5 °C to 35 °C and at least 48 hours of cover from rain and frost. Another prints 5 °C to 30 °C and says do not apply if frost is forecast within 24 hours. The tub on this job sets the days. Do not paint over this finish, and do not drill it until the sheet says it has cured.
• Keep soil, splash and climbing plants off the base of the wall where you can.
• Hairline cracks can appear as the coat cures and as the building moves. They are not, on their own, a failed system.
